The e-list is slang for euthanasia list. It is nothing but a list of animal ID numbers, the kennel numbers the animals are located in, and why they are scheduled to die the next morning. Volunteers scramble to take photographs of the dogs on this list, with whatever type of camera they may have, so that these faces can be seen by sharing them online. Community awareness is essential to saving lives every day through networking that can help these animals find their homes, or help them get into new ones.
