DESERT HEARTS Animal Compassion on Facebook
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Desert Hearts Animal Compassion is a photography resource to see the faces of County shelter animals in need. The site also highlights current animal issues, promotes rescue networking, rescue organizations and strives to promote a healthy, compassionate vegan lifestyle.
Donations are greatly appreciated. You can help support photography used to give the public access to images of shelter animals at County in the days before they may reach the euthanasia lists, giving time for extra networking, rescue, and adoption opportunities. Donations are also used for boarding pledges, adoptions and medical pledges to rescues that take in animals scheduled for euthanasia.
If this site is helpful to you, please consider donating.
My goal is to be able to photograph more often at the County shelters than my current one or two days a week.
The sooner new animals are seen as they come in, the better their chances are to find outlets before they become at risk, or to be reunited with their owners.
You can donate directly through the Desert Hearts Animal Compassion Facebook page.
